PCMCIA Membership

Membership in PCMCIA is open to any company, organization or individual. There are two levels of membership to accommodate different levels of participation and commitment.


Executive Member
Annual Dues: $4,500

Executive membership is for companies that are interested in the advancement of modular peripheral technology. Executive Members plan the strategic future of PCMCIA and its technology by controlling the By-laws and by filling all nine seats on PCMCIA's Board of Directors. Executive members enjoy full voting rights on all technical, marketing, and organizational issues. Members at this level are also entitled to submit proposals for changes to the PC Card and ExpressCard Standards.


Affiliate Member
Annual Dues: $2,500

Affiliate membership is suited to companies that need up-to-date information about modular peripheral technology and want to take advantage of PCMCIA's marketing and promotional activities, including rights to use the ExpressCard trademark on compliant products. Affiliate members may not attend meetings, but do receive complete meeting minutes following each meeting. Affiliate members have access to all of PCMCIA's certification, marketing activities and the members-only web site.

PCMCIA Membership Agreement
All parties applying for membership to PCMCIA must sign the PCMCIA Membership Agreement and return it (by mail or express courier) to PCMCIA before a new membership can become active. All existing PCMCIA members are bound to this same agreement. Please review this agreement and submit it to PCMCIA along with the online membership application. Membership becomes effective when PCMCIA has received payment and the signed agreement.
